WEDDING CAKE PRICES
Your wedding cake will be one of the highlights of your wedding day and I take that very seriously. My prices reflect the bespoke, personal attention I give to you and your special cake.
The price of your wedding cake will depend on many factors including the size, complexity of design & decoration, any dummy tiers, flavours and the type and amount of sugar flowers. Each cake is individually designed and priced.

For 2024 / 2025, I have a minimum cake order value.
This means your cake with decorations will be a minimum of the following:
£750* for 3 tiers
£950* for 4 & 5 tiers
*not including favours, dessert table items, delivery and set up** or cake stand hire
with most couples budgeting a minimum of £750 - £1200 upwards.

**Delivery is charged at 50p per mile as a return journey
plus hourly rates for delivery time & set up.

(Although I am currently based on the Lancashire / Cheshire border, I do travel for weddings throughout the North West including Lancashire, Cheshire & The Lake District, Cumbria (cover all areas such as Penrith, Windermere, Ambleside, Keswick, Grasmere, Rydal, Hawkshead, Langdale, Buttermere, Pooley Bridge, Glenridding, Thirlmere, Bassenthwaite, Coniston, Cockermouth & Carlisle). ​

DATE AVAILABILITY & BOOKING
As soon as you have booked your wedding venue, please contact me to check my availability. Due to the bespoke nature of my cakes and the time & attention given to each order, I only take on a limited number of cakes per month. I advise booking your date with me at least 6 -12 months or more prior to your wedding date, although my diaries for 2024 to 2025 are now open. Short notice availability may be possible, so please do not hesitate to contact me.
After our initial contact, if you are confident you would like to book me to make your wedding cake, I just take a £100 non-refundable booking fee to secure the date in my diary.

Then about 4-6 months before your wedding, I will invite you to your full consultation. A complimentary cake tasting box will also be sent to you nearer the time of your consultation.

CAKE DESIGN CONSULTATION
Planning & designing your wedding cake is such an exciting time. At this consultation we can discuss your dream wedding cake wish list in detail - size options, flavours, colour schemes to match your overall wedding, decoration & floral details. We can also finalise any wedding favours, dessert tables or edible gifts you may require.

The reason we do your Cake Design Consultation about 4-6 months prior to your wedding is to give you time to plan all the elements & details that are important to you. Some of these details and style elements can then be incorporated into your cake design.

To prepare for this consultation, please visit my social media accounts & website gallery for inspiration and get a sense of the style of cakes that I make. Feel free to email me your wedding inspiration board if you have one or other images / ideas you have in mind.
Great sources of inspiration could be your wedding dress, a detail on your shoes, the colour of your bridesmaids dresses, your flower arrangements, some other venue decoration detail or something very personal to you.

After this consultation (currently taking place on Zoom), I will send you a full quotation & sketch options of your cake design based on our discussion. I will also send out your complimentary cake sample box at this time.
​
The final balance will then be due 3 months prior to your wedding.
​
If you wish to buy a cake taster box prior to booking, these are £30 and will be refunded if you go on to book with me. (Sent on selected dates)
